Pros
○ Get to use equipment after hours (tanning beds, spray tan, and red light) ○ You can build really awesome relationships with the clients. ○ Raises are frequent if you have good sales and work hard (or if the owners need something from you and don't want you to leave) ○ ALMOST everyone can always come back if they need a job, no matter how long it's been. ○ If the owners like you they treat you like family!
Cons
○ There is no real management. It is only a title the owners give someone that they want to put all the responsibilities and blame onto. ○ You rarely get paid what the owner says they will pay you! ○ If you have even one bad day of sales the owner punishes you by taking your hours or making you work in a slower more ghetto location. ○ The turn over rate is so high that the clients don't even want to have conversations with the employees because they don't know if they will be there the next day or not. ○ DOESNT PAY WHAT YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE PAID!!! They will short your check HUNDREDS of dollars to see if you catch it! And if you do then they will argue and make up excuses as to why you should not be paid that. Especially when it comes to paying commissions!
