The department in particular (industrial engineering) felt a bit irrelevant which could feel demoralising at times. It also wasn't a very technical role; even above the intern level most of the work was all essentially admin to confirm cycle times - I did not once feel like an engineer. That being said, the BMW Group as a whole was amazing to work for and would definitely return for a different role.

Decent wage, some team leaders are actually decent, easy work

Breaks are a joke, have 1x 15 min break then 1x 10 min break there’s no choice in this you have to have it, take about 5 mins to walk to one side of the factory to go outside on your break! A lot of the team leaders are of Muslim ethic, they look after their own!
