Pros
I’ve been at a couple different agencies before this and I feel like BGB actually cares. While I can’t speak for everyone’s experiences, I can say that I have always felt heard by my supervisors and upper management, I have always felt I’ve had a career path and momentum forward, I’ve been given opportunities to succeed and show my skills and have been rewarded for doing a good job. I love the Creative team and department, everyone seems to have each others back and everyone is so easy to collaborate with, and there’s so much talent. We are fully remote still, which is great for me, but they do have an office in midtown now for those that want to come in. I feel like I’m part of a community. Like most jobs, it is what you make of it. If you take everything at face value, you may be disappointed with the work and day to day. But if you ask and look for, and even make the opportunities that you want, you will be encouraged and supported.
Cons
We are growing and adjusting, and there are some growing pains for sure. It takes a bit of time to implement process changes or enforce process. Some agencies have better benefits. Work life balance isn’t always great, but that’s really an industry issue if we’re being honest. Some departments have higher turnover than others.
