Pros
Fully remote team. One main internal communication tool to make sure we are connected as a whole studio team. The studio works as one, rather than as many different offices. The team meets up throughout the year for in person events. A global team in which rather than placing the focus to fit one geographical / social culture, there is an aware we are made up of a team of many cultures. The aim is to learn about, celebrate and take from all cultures to be more inclusive. We work together as many cultures with the joint mindset to progress towards common company goals. The team responds well to change and ambiguity - which we have often working in a relatively young studio. Everyone is open to and supports improvements as the studio grows and the company evolves. Management are respectful of the team’s time - overtime is rare - and they have an open door policy for employees to approach them quickly and easily. The studio is keen to promote employees internally and aims for gender balance - with a fairly even split achieved month-on-month.
Cons
Turnaround times for projects are very fast (but manageable). Although in some ways a pro point, giving the team opportunities to work on a larger variety of projects within a short period.
