Okay - Animal Care Attendant BC SPCA Employee Review

Few hours available, low pay, most branches are union, some aren't, I disagree with what head office has to say about some cases - seems to go completely against what they advertise themselves to be. The low pay is ridiculous considering everything that goes into this job (animal care, can be high stress, rehabilitating some animals, lots of reception and paper work) to be paid a bit over minimum wage starting seems kinda crazy - and it takes years to work up from there. I love the team that I work with, but I dislike the way that the provincial office decides to handle quite a few situations.
