Hello and thank you for taking the time to share this feedback with us. We're so glad you found value in the wellness benefit and our toll fee reimbursements. We're excited to offer these perks to our clinical team members. Let's talk contracts first. Yes, most work with BB Imaging is at-will (rather than contractual), which is standard practice for most companies. We also stipulate upfront that PTO is not paid out as a way to encourage our team members to use it and take the rest they need. Additionally, as a services company, the non-compete clause helps to protect our retention rate, which is vital to developing cohesive clinical teams and minimizing frustrating turnover. Regarding pay and benefits, our pay structure is in "bands," which we review every quarter to ensure sonographers are in the right band and that our pay rates are keeping up with the market. Keeping up with annual reviews is something we have struggled with in the past, however, our last annual performance evaluation period occurred in December 2022. We are now looking at instituting biannual evaluations to better support team members and their growth goals. Additionally, we do pay mileage for people having to commute greater than 25 miles outside of their assigned zone. For those driving further than 60 miles outside their assigned zone, we pay for mileage and drive time, plus a $2 differential for the whole working day. Communication and acting on team member suggestions is something we pride ourselves on. There are so many levels of communication available, from company-wide emails to weekly regional calls to daily team meetings, etc. We encourage minor employee concerns to be addressed at the Charge or Director level, but we also have a large support team that can help address policy/procedure concerns and an anonymous suggestion box that is reviewed and taken very seriously by the executive team. In fact, many of our current policies and benefits are the direct result of team member suggestions and feedback. Again, thank you for your feedback, and we wish you the best moving forward.

As we continue to grow our clinic presence, we’re committed to bringing more BBI team members together in person. In the meantime, we’re intentional about keeping communication strong through our All-Hands Biweekly Calls, Weekly Regional Team Calls, and active Teams group chats. Pros

- Decent(ish) pay and benefits

Cons

Disclaimer: I want you to make your own decision about working for this company, but I'm sharing this information so that you also know what you're about to get into. If you're looking for a company with decent-ish pay and benefits and don't care about the working environment/culture, then by all means, work here. Just don't believe anything they tell you and keep your options open, because they will burn you in the end. Not trying to be mean, just being honest. If, however, you value ethical standards, believe in treating people decently, and want honesty from your leadership, this is not the place for you. Here is what you can expect: They will feed you all kinds of "people-first" messaging in the interview. If you get the job, you may even feel like it's true for a little while. Fairly quickly, though, you'll pick up on how they actually treat people, the constantly revolving door, and the hypocrisy of your (often underqualified, if not totally inept) leaders. You can choose to put up with this for as long as you want, or until you are very suddenly let go due to no fault of your own. This company may present a decent opportunity to pay the bills for a little while, just don't trust anyone and keep your options open.
