Pros
The regional UK team is very friendly and helpful. While departments don't always get along, there is a sense of belonging within the individual departments. Compensation is fair and new starters are appropriately integrated into the company, with many opportunities to travel regionally and internationally. Employees, even young/new ones, are not observed too much and given flexible working hours. Little to no punishment for bending the rules occasionally (dress code, hours, holidays, etc.). Workload was very manageable.
Cons
Poor employee health- the cafeteria was dreadful and overpriced. No microwave or kettle to prepare own food, and apart from salad, no healthy options. There should be far more non-monetary benefits starting with better food and chairs. I regularly suffered back pain and felt generally unhealthy from the food, lack of movement, and stuffy air in the building. Far too many meetings and very outdated software. The company should invest more time in creating better internal relationships between employees from different fields (Marketing - Technical - Sales - Business) and should listen to employee feedback! Also, everyone hates the random seating at Christmas.
