Where do I begin? Overall company management is pathetic. They must sleep on a bed of money and are happy to keep lower grade staff suffering on minimum wage. In store, unless you're "best friends" with the assistant manager you will have a hard time. One person when we first opened thought about ending her life due to a row with said manager. I suggested something and designed and sent it to the store manager. He loved it, but somehow, the Area Manager has nixed the idea. It appears that unless the Area Manager comes up with the idea he's not interested at all. Its very disheartening. Cleanliness of the store is a problem, we've had rats and mice and I saw on a Newspaper website close to company head office that one of their distribution centers was full of rats. How they have not be closed down due to this I will never know. You don't get paid more for being a forklift driver, even though its a very important and responsible job that can actually kill someone. They bullying in store is too much. All the head office manager appear to interested in is the money. They are expanding too quickly can't be bothered to amend errors that are currently impacting their existing stores. I could go on forever, but seriously stay clear!
