Pros
Pay is decent because they work you hard and pile on more and more tasks. You deserve more money than you get though. And definitely deserve a little bit of credit. Instead management takes it all. Oh, let’s move to the cons.
Cons
Oh where to begin. #1. You become overwhelmed with “management” needing you to do things that they are not capable of doing because they don’t know how. Completely incompetent when it comes to their own employees jobs. #2. Holiday pay? Sure, you get New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving day, and Christmas day off. If you want the day after Thanksgiving or Christmas off, you have to use your vacation time if you have any. Even though customers don’t want you there on those days. #3. You had better become best friends with management. Maybe even be extremely capable of running marathons. If you are not a part of the “in crowd”, you can be tossed out at any time. #4. They have this thing called “Corner 4 “. It is a ridiculous FAKE concept that they have adopted where you are apparently able to confidently express your opinions with management, including the owner, and not be reprimanded. That is level 4. Where you are supposed to be able to speak your mind and express any feelings you have whether it be a good feeling or bad. Corner 4 is the “trust” corner. I don’t trust a company that continuously holds secrets. But, once you do express your emotions, you will definitely be reprimanded in ways that make you hate being there every day. Management now hates you and will find a way to get rid of you. And unfortunately, since Michigan is an at will state, they don’t have to tell you why. Or they will give you some ridiculous excuse. After that, they will post on career sites an opening for your position. Even if you are eliminated due to “lack of sales“. They will hire someone and pay them less. #5. Make sure one of your relatives that are very, very close to you doesn’t die. You will not get the bereavement you deserve. #6. There is absolutely no helpful or necessary communication between management and staff. There is no constructive criticism so if you are doing something wrong in your job, you won’t know it until you are being escorted out. They will mail you your personal belongings. After they humiliate you in front of your coworkers. #7. If you have anything personal going on, don’t expect them to care at all. #8. They don’t care about you. They will pretend you are part of their family and after you go above and beyond and train new people, they will definitely make you feel like the black sheep, and you then become extinct. Oh, and if you have any friends that you made while working there, they will also tell you not to speak to them again. I could give you many many more cons. But, I have wasted enough of my time with this company. I went above and beyond and got canned for absolutely no reason. This is not a review based on only my experience. This is a review that is honest and truthful. Unlike this company.
