They will constantly call and email a candidate to present to their client. If their client is not interested, these guys won't even bother with a professional courtesy call or email to let you know. They just move on to their next candidate. It's all about getting paid for the candidate that their client hires. They could care less about follow up calls.
Since I joined Axis has been growing as a company. They've won a lot of new clients across the Canada and the US. My favorite aspect of the company is the flexibility they offer, and the focus on results instead of activities. In my past recruiting roles I'd be pushed to cold call or message 100+ people per week. At Axis they focus on placements and conversions instead of activity numbers which means I don't spend anywhere near the same amount of time to achieve the same results. Also really appreciate the remote nature of the role and the flexibility it gives me.
The commission structure is really good as well and makes up a good portion of my comp.
