      Dishonest and weak management - beware - Technical Support Engineer Axis Communications Employee Review

      Pros

      Mainly your collegues, work assignments/troubleshooting in general, a constant flow of new products getting released and always something new/improved to look forward to learning. Website (Axis Academy) provides a great source of knowledge for both customers of Axis but also for employees.

      Cons

      The weak management experience from some Managers, with the inability to properly communicate and give feedback on progress and what to improve on in day-to-day operations. No appreciation and a huge lack of positive comments for new employees, you work as if you were invisible to your Manager, staggering to say the least, to not get any proper follow-up feedback and what to focus on in order to perform as expected.

      - Base compensation falls below market benchmarks and competitor levels - New hires are earning as much as or more than tenured employees. - Difficulty attracting and retaining talent due to low pay and preference for recruiting for the Chelmsford, MA HQ over other offices or hybrid.
