Pros
Gym reimbursement, if you use it.
Cons
Aware once had a truly 'members first' culture and was a great place to work. However, recent leadership has turned it into a toxic nightmare by hiring questionable individuals into key leadership positions. These leaders have delivered no notable achievements but glide through thanks to their 'gift of the gab'. The result: The company fails to meet KPIs and has lost its focus on members. Strategic direction from the top seems confused, as shown by constant restructuring in an attempt to finally "get it right." All at the expense of loyal, hardworking staff who are demoted or pushed out in favour of externals from the pool of friends of the leadership team. Morale is at an all time low, impacting productivity. Despite its claims of diversity, the reality is different. The higher up you go, the less diversity you see. Diversity initiatives are performative only. While the job market is tough, only consider Aware Super for a very short stint if you're truly desperate.
