Pros
One individual can make a huge impact on the company. There is no micromanagement, or bureaucratic hurdles to getting your job done. You will have the opportunity to involve yourself in every aspect of the business if you choose to do so. For the motivated, and well prepared individual, moving up within the company can happen, and can happen extremely fast for those prepared to take on the responsibility. Upward movement doesn't stop at Avionic Instruments as they are a part of a larger holding company with opportunities for employment and upward mobility all over the US.
Cons
It's not for the feint at heart. If you like being told what to do with a task list of items to get done every day, look elsewhere for a job. It's a challenge every day in that in order to get your job done, you will need to be persistent in your follow up with things that fall outside your departments boundaries. Sometimes, the sales role feels like the punching bag for poor customer service, reliability issues, and production delays. The stress will challenge you, even if you think you can handle the pressure.
