Pros

Health and salary are good.

Cons

No long-term strategy. They say one thing in the morning and do the opposite in the afternoon. Micromanagement at the highest levels. This is, by far, one of the worst experiences of my entire career. Constant product issues. The problem with Aviatrix is their story doesn't align with reality. It takes a while to realize while the public cloud is exploding and many enterprises are going multi-cloud, there's no place for heavy, expensive networking software from an unproven startup with shaky leadership. 95% of Aviatrix's offering can be done natively with each CSP. The aviatrix value prop is weak and will not last the test of time. It doesn't make sense to build your network on buggy software from a 3rd party that won't be around in a couple of years. With the current economic downturn, I expect them to run out of runway in 18 months or less. Most leaders are liars, fake, selfish, and nasty people. Ego maniacal leadership from the C-suite (not just Steve). Highly toxic sales culture. No career development. People are misled. Just go on LinkedIn and see people who recently changed companies and were with Aviatrix for less than a year or six months... Motivation through fear doesn't work. Leaders are some of the worst characters you will ever see. If you do not believe me, accept a job there and see how you will be treated a few months in. They fire everyone before any options can vest. Only accept options you will get, most likely none with the current CEO, Steve.

Pros

Wonderfully talented colleagues and invested customers

Cons

Strategy changes every 3 months, and product direction that very few of the pre-existing customers care about.
