Pros
- Initial pay rate was competitive. - Some competent leadership at the top.
Cons
- PTO policy discourages taking time off: employees are paid at a lower rate while on PTO. "Unlimited" PTO policy is an accounting trick to avoid asset accrual for the employee. - Very little pay rate improvement. The starting rate you get is more than likely the rate you will be seeing for multiple year(s). Personally seen less than 10% pay increase over multiple years of employment including promotions. Negotiate hard for better starting salary. - No gender diversity at senior leadership level. Almost 100% of senior level management (VPs and up) are Men. Only two women are in HR and marketing. Most of the highly respected women I've worked with over the years become frustrated with opportunities and ultimately leave for more forward thinking companies.
