Pros
fulfilling job so it is awesome. I recommend this job, people here regardless of functions are generally nice. this is such a better job if you are passionate about the cause. Management tends to care more than the commercial people. There are ups and downs but at the end of the day, this is a pretty good job.
Cons
only one con. there are people in the backend office function at ARC and the school (not therapist or educators who face the autistic students) there who exist very long in the company (like more than 8-10 years), and they are not the easiest to handle with. This is very sad for new people with passions to help others. They are not there for the passion anymore; they are there to protect their own jobs and did not treat newcomers with respect (they don't even treat the needy people well). Please do something about them. Non-profit industry needs passionate, competent and bright people to embark on this career and these people are deterring really good people from staying.
