Pros
I really appreciate the flexibility that comes with being fully remote — it makes a huge difference for work-life balance. The work itself is engaging and never feels repetitive, since I get to collaborate with different accounting firms and take on a wide variety of projects. I also love that I’ve been able to focus on training and learning and development, and management has been really supportive of that. On top of it all, the company is growing quickly and there are exciting changes ahead, which makes it feel like a great time to be part of the team.
Cons
The health insurance options are more limited than what you’d see at a larger firm, and there aren’t as many formalized fringe benefits. That being said, the continuous growth of the company, the overall flexibility, supportive environment, great coworkers, and the fact that there are no busy seasons more than makes up for it.
