Pros

Team Environment: Everyone helps everyone else to accomplish goals and push for higher standards. I was invited to Team Night before I ever worked a single hour. Meaningful Experience: This was my first professional job. They gave me the experience all other companies require. I started in Entry Level and moved up to Assistant Management in 9.5 months. Although the long term was not for me, I was able to gain a management position elsewhere with my experiences there. Reliable Hours: Management is willing to accommodate employee scheduling needs. I typically worked 7.5 hours/day 5 days/week with an hour lunch break. When I had to drive to meet clients I was paid for the drive time and reimbursed for gas and use of my own vehicle.

Cons

This is still very clearly a start-up company, though that isn't necessarily a con. Everyone loves an Austin start up, especially one growing this quickly. That being said, the company is barely 2 years old so there are still some technical kinks to be ironed out. I definitely didn't make much money the first month. I was still learning and kind of felt like I was working that college customer service job again. But, if you follow the advice of your trainer, you can definitely start making as much as $25/hour before being promoted.

Pros

The Austin Focus Interview process is exactly how every job interview should be run. Multiple phases give you the ability to truly understand the nature and culture of the company and allows for a more seamless entrance into your role. The people here are detail oriented, clearly driven and willing to help you wherever you feel you could use the help.

Cons

If you want to work with this company do NOT plan on coasting. They offer positions for people who are highly self-motived and striving for personal improvement day in and day out.

Pros

I really did love working here. It is an awesome opportunity! Within 9-12 months you can be running your own marketing company. It is a management training program that teaches you from the ground event level all the way up to executive management level. Not only did I learn skill sets that pertained to marketing. I also learned all kinds of skills for business in general. Its also a very positive environment. Everyone who works there always comes in a very good mood and willing to do whatever it takes to get you to reach your both professional and personal goals. I not only consider the people I worked with as former co-workers I consider them personal friends. I also got to travel to Phoenix for 2 weeks to learn from the one of the best of the best in the business. (that trip was completely paid for by the owner Kati). The owner and everyone invest a lot of time and money their employees. And it shows. I personally had to leave because realized that my personal and professional goals could not simultaneously be reached while going through this program. But I highly recommend the program for anyone who can put in the time and work.

Cons

I wouldn't say this is a really a con but it is a lot of time and work. They cram 5 years of management training into 9 months. So if someone does not have a strong drive or good work ethic it might not be the right opportunity for them.
