Pros
There has been so many good people come and go through the office - the company used to have such potential.
Cons
Working at Auscare was an eye-opening experience, but unfortunately not in a positive way. The organisation is currently overshadowed by highly public personal issues involving senior leadership, which has created an unstable and emotionally charged environment.
The culture itself feels toxic, with frequent instances of poor behaviour and bullying going unchecked. Staff turnover is the highest I’ve ever seen in a workplace, which really says it all.
There is also a noticeable lack of structure, clear policies, and consistent procedures. This leaves teams confused, unsupported, and constantly firefighting rather than being able to do their jobs effectively.
Overall, it’s a chaotic environment that needs serious leadership reform and a stronger focus on staff wellbeing and governance before it could be considered a healthy workplace.
I was there only a short time — and even that felt too long.
