Pros

Weekly snacktimes and a soda fountain are not enough to compensate for the profound lack of ethical operating standards human resources abides by. I would advise against working with this company or for this company.

Cons

I am documenting my experience with Audio Enhancment to provide transparency regarding the company’s internal standards and management ethics. My tenure at Audio Enhancement was marked by consistent professional achievement; my 30-day performance review established that I was not only meeting expectations but exceeding them in several categories. Despite this documented high performance, I was terminated under circumstances that suggest a clear policy of retaliatory and discriminatory action. My termination occurred precisely one day prior to the effective date of my health insurance benefits—a timing that implies a calculated effort by management to avoid the assumption of healthcare liability. Furthermore, my absences for required court appearances—necessary while acting as a victim and witness assisting the State of Utah in a multi-victim, multi-felony SA case—had been explicitly cleared and approved by my direct management. The termination, therefore, stands in direct contradiction to prior management authorization and appears to be a targeted response to my status as a victim and my cooperation with law enforcement. Predatory termination tactics, Hostility towards victims of violent crime, Unprofessional conduct. Negligent Payroll Practices.

Pros

The company has a family-oriented culture where people genuinely care about and support each other. The team is great to work with, collaborative, and always willing to help. What I love most is the mission—knowing that the work contributes to improving education makes the job feel meaningful and rewarding.

Cons

As with many organizations, priorities can shift quickly to meet evolving needs. Workloads can occasionally be demanding during peak periods.

Pros

Decent money. Get to spend a lot of time with your coworkers. (Can be a positive if you like them.)

Cons

Terrible work-life balance. You will regularly spend roughly 6 days of the month sleeping in your own bed. Hope you like sleeping in hotel rooms after 12+ hour shifts and sometimes working weekends. AR is currently shifting from a family business to a corporate mega-corp, and they have no clue on how to do it. Rules, expectations, management, and more will change weekly. There is zero line of communication between the installation team and the higher ups. Your complaints will be ignored and you will not be accommodated. You sacrifice having a life outside of the company for far too little benefit, and the company couldn’t care less.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for your years of service with Audio Enhancement. We understand that the travel requirements of the Installer role can be challenging. As our company has grown and expanded across the country, the position has evolved into a role that requires extensive travel, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work when customer schedules, project timelines, or travel logistics require it. We recognize that spending significant time away from home is not a fit for everyone, and we strive to be transparent about these expectations throughout the recruiting and interview process. We also understand that maintaining a healthy work-life balance is important. While the nature of this role requires travel to support schools and customers nationwide, we appreciate the sacrifices our installation teams make and the dedication they bring to every project. We are sorry to hear that you felt communication could have been better. Employee feedback is important to us, and we continue working to improve communication between leadership and our field teams as the company grows and evolves. Most importantly, thank you for the hard work and commitment you have shown during your time with Audio Enhancement. Our installers play a critical role in our success, and we genuinely appreciate the effort, flexibility, and professionalism required to serve our customers across the country. We wish you continued success and appreciate you sharing your perspective.
