      Pros

      I've had the opportunity to work on interesting problems which have helped me to grow, and have been able to be promoted internally once with a relatively clear path towards L6. Leadership also trusts those one the ground a lot too, so I've been able to provide a lot of direction to the team. HR spends a lot of time promoting certain political views and virtue signaling about diversity to a company which doesn't actually have any problems with welcoming a diverse staff on account of it's having a very diverse staff.

      Cons

      Senior product leadership lacks a clear vision, and communication between teams regarding priorities and estimates is very poor. Several times we've built features after objecting to product that users probably wouldn't need it and had TPMs reaching out every week regarding the status of the project only to learn afterwards that the intended internal users had no need of the feature.

      Audible is an Amazon company. I think as a whole, this company attracts people who are kind and fun spirited. Good product.

      Pros

      Audible is an Amazon company. I think as a whole, this company attracts people who are kind and fun spirited. Some who come from other big tech companies may think us as nerdy or quiet but I think it’s the lack of toxic compatibility that you tend to see at those other companies. I purely enjoy working with my colleagues and the work that I do, which I can hardly say about the other big tech companies I worked at. Free lunch and commuter/parking benefit

      Cons

      5-day RTO. The headquarter is in Newark, NJ. The commute can be hard for some.
