      Pros

      I'm joining a place with a real mission, a popular product and the backing of one of the biggest companies in the world. Newark feel like it's on the cusp of revitalization and reinvention and I'd like to take part in it. It goes without saying the the benefits are ridiculous! I get the sense that talent is truly recognized and there is permission to disrupt, reinvent and grow. Would highly recommend jumping on board.

      Cons

      The recruitment process was a bit more long and involved than I'm used to, but also transparent and fair, especially considering the caliber of the company I'm joining.

      Pros

      Audible is an Amazon company. I think as a whole, this company attracts people who are kind and fun spirited. Some who come from other big tech companies may think us as nerdy or quiet but I think it’s the lack of toxic compatibility that you tend to see at those other companies. I purely enjoy working with my colleagues and the work that I do, which I can hardly say about the other big tech companies I worked at. Free lunch and commuter/parking benefit

      Cons

      5-day RTO. The headquarter is in Newark, NJ. The commute can be hard for some.
