Good luck if you can even see your direct report in person during your tenure in the company. New staff are thrown into the job with no training, no guidance, no briefing. Your manager will just asked you to read the company's numerous handbooks and SOP. The managers and executives are more concern about sucking up to management. HR can be dishonest & not forthcoming about staff retention rate if you asked about it and miscommunication is a daily occurrence here. No diversity, everything has to be translated into Mandarin. Not sure why they would tag themselves as a local startup - it's definitely not that. If you like China management style, this place is for you.
