I have never experienced as toxic a workplace as this. Of course, every place is going to have its challenges. However, this place is beyond the normal levels of toxicity I've experienced, even at other big tech companies. There is no integrity, AT ALL, at the senior leadership level. It is very manipulative. Whereas at other big tech companies you know exactly what you're getting into and are prepared for some level of bad behavior and manipulation, politics, lies etc, here you are told the complete opposite. Examples: - There is apparently "no stack ranking", despite there being explicitly clear guidelines from leadership and HR to stack rank and move employees to meet a curve. - "Open company, no BS" is a "core company value", but employees are being terminated for speaking out and being vocal against the decisions and behavior going on. - "Engineering Joy" is being promoted on the social channels and by exec leaders as a top priority, yet every person you talk to has been struggling and/or miserable the past 6 months. - "DE&I initiatives" are "top priority", yet the number of women in leadership, specifically within the engineering organization, is a VERY, VERY small percent. You pull up the org chart and it's pretty much all men through the first three layers of management.
