Pros

Ability to work remotely if needed (before the pandemic) Exams paid for 1 day a month training day

Cons

A lot of strain/stress due to not having enough staff available on the service desk, because of staff leaving leading to burnout and poor mental health. Recruitment was incredibly slow, meaning the service desk was under resourced and unappreciated for long periods. This led to chaos whenever a member of the team was ill sometimes leaving only one person to man first line for the day. First line would often be asked to take on tasks/responsibilities above their already low pay grade. Promotions were incredibly poor, expecting staff to work for a second probation of 6 months in their new role without a pay rise to see if they were suitable. Unwillingness to help from higher up support tiers. First line support member repeatedly spying on other staff members machines via customer monitoring systems & trying to act like management.

Pros

People in the office are great to work with and liven up the office environment while working. Benefits are plenty as well with exams and other job related finances being paid for.

Cons

People in the office may not be everyone's preference of co-worker/colleague
