Pros

Pay is almost a dollar more than minimum wage 50% off Discounts at gap and banana republic 40 hour work weeks

Cons

95% of employees hired by Management are over the age of 50, with no retail experience. So if you're a college student looking for a job this isn't the place for you. You are treated like your a child while dealing with all your co workers who have no idea how to run a store due to lack of experience. THE STOCKROOM. The most disorganized thing I've ever seen, you can't run a store smoothly without a stockroom. Literally boxes falling on my head and clothes all over the floor. You will be promised promotions that will never come, that happened to several people in a matter of months They want you to be up the customers ass 100% of the time even when your help is clearly and rudely not wanted I was only there got 2 months and 5 managers quit by just not showing up, experienced good managers would not work here.

Pros

Very black & white on policies. You always know what is right or wrong.Operationally strong company that allows movement between brands. Decent pay if you advocate for yourself as an external, but don’t expect much once you’re in.

Cons

Company has changed direction so much since COVID. Seems like there’s no clear idea on who we are anymore.Senior leadership feels like a revolving door that only succeeds in spinning tires with no traction. We love to initiate something only to either sunset it months later or leave it in limbo(WellPro). The amount of stress pushed on stores to meet credit goals is absurd to the point it inspires unethical behaviors in certain stores.
