Pros

A good starting point to your career - however spending too long here will leave you picking up bad habits or burnout. Note turnover is high because of this. A nice Apple Laptop.

Cons

During my time at Athena, I found the work environment to be highly stressful and unsupportive. Targets were often set with out the Manager's input and without regard for operational realities, which led to a blame culture, burnout and instant firing. Feedback was either ignored or your punished, so you fear speaking out and there was little to no transparency from leadership. High turnover and low morale were consistent issues. The Recruitment team, Training teams and Marketing teams are led by poor Department Leaders who have little or no respect for their team members who work hard to support the unachievable numbers. Teams are not able to take annual leave and are constantly churning the hours to meet weekly targets. Further breeding discontent and zero job satisfaction.

Pros

Pay was good, simple and fast sale, Tons of inbound. Too good to be true…

Cons

Little training or organization. As a new hire was able to do really well in a short period of time but was part of mass lay off 6 days before Christmas. Layoff was handled terribly. Still waiting to get reimbursed for shipping cost for returning company equipment. I regret applying here and it really screwed up my life. The leadership is both incompetent and cruel.
