Your rate does not reflect your workload. The benefits do not cover the fact that you can be doing a job meant for 5 people and still be compensated the same. They will bombard you with team spirit and all those colorful things to mask that they care more about their clients than their employees. Ultimately, you are just another dispensable employee that they will try to get rid of once it does not benefit them anymore. Most policies, if not all, benefit the higher-ups, more than they benefit you as an employee, no matter how amazing they make it sound. All in all, it was a very traumatizing experience for me because the management and executives gaslighted you whenever you "approach directly". A lot of toxic positivity and broken promises get exhausting and compromise you and your well-being. Run. If you love your mental health enough.
