Pros

Located at the center of Tel-Aviv.

Cons

This negative atmosphere seemed to permeate from the hiring process through to the daily work routine. Work-life balance, unfortunately, was notably poor, with an expectation of overtime at all costs. One notable aspect was the prevalence of political discussions and unhealthy competition among departments, employees, and management. This created a counterproductive and stressful atmosphere, leading to a lack of fulfillment. Additionally, there appeared to be a struggle in effectively implementing agile processes, resulting in continuous stress and frustration.

Pros

Atera is truly the best team I’ve worked with. The culture strikes a perfect balance between a drive for excellence and a supportive, family-like atmosphere. I personally relocated with the company, and the transition was seamless—they made me feel at home on both sides of the world. The product itself is a "true sell"; it’s a robust tool that solves genuine problems for IT teams. Furthermore, the career growth here is unmatched. Atera prioritizes "growth from within"—I’ve been promoted, and most of my original team members have also moved into higher roles. If you perform well and "keep rocking," the opportunities are there.

Cons

Because we are a mature startup, we move fast and pivot quickly. If you prefer a slow-paced or rigid environment, the "startup hustle" might be a challenge, but for those who love agility, it’s a fun ride.

Pros

Free lunch provided on Thursdays.

Cons

Lack of job security and transparency: The environment feels highly volatile due to sudden layoffs. Employees are frequently let go without prior notice. It is common to see colleagues suddenly deactivated on Slack with no internal explanation, followed by vague statements from leadership about a lack of "fit." This impacts morale globally and locally. Poor work-life balance: The work-life balance is incredibly difficult, and there is a frequent expectation for employees to work late until 8 PM.
