Pros

I’ve worked in AZ over 2 years. At the beginning the office, salary, benefits and the policy of treating employees made me feel I was in a story tale. Coworkers were fantastic and super friendly (at least in the first team I worked). Unfortunately, after few months my rose-colored glasses fell to the ground with a thud when I realised how toxic environment I needed to work in.

Cons

The worst management I experienced in my several years of career as a data analyst. During these 2 years I had two team managers, both same horrible, inhuman, unprofessional, unsupportive, pushy, without any experience in people management, using micromanagement, pushing you under a moving bus in critical situations, leading you directly to the depression and panic attacks. Under their fake smile there was a lot of rudeness and selfishness. Higher management knowing what was going on did nothing to improve the situation. The rotation was the highest I’ve ever seen in both teams. Additionally, the company pays in Poland around 80% of market median and have unpaid overtime, so my disappointment was really huge. Be also prepared that the new joiners can get even 1,2-2k pln more than you on the same position for some time.

Pros

I imagine this is very dependent on line management but I find my team and supervisors to be true champions of a high performing and highly compassionate work culture. I find my work challenging and rewarding, and have had opportunities to learn and grow and be rewarded and recognized for my output. No job is perfect but I’m truly happy to work here and at a time when AZ is truly rising like a rocket.

Cons

Like any massive global corporate entity, things can sometimes move slowly and it can be challenging to navigate a high number of constantly evolving priorities and initiatives. That being said, AZ is very clear about its north stars and values which makes it possible to prioritize work that has the most impact and alignment with the company’s ambition and business prerogatives. 60% office attendance policy is also a bit funny when oftentimes I am on Teams calls with colleagues sitting in other areas of the world.
