Pros
There are many, but I'll just riff a bit here: The entire team — from accounting to launch operations — is mission-orientated and we feel the highs and lows together. There are always opportunities to learn and improve as an Astra employee, and no matter what team you're working with, you'll be surrounded by kind and intelligent humans who are there to support and cheer you on. One MAJOR pro: Launching rockets and working on propulsion for satellites is, well, just so much fun! It's a pivotal time in the space industry, and Astra is on the cutting edge of all of it.
Cons
This is not an Astra con, but more of a complexity about the aerospace industry in the United States: I believe all hires must be US Citizens, green card holders or have some sort of ITAR exemption — and that immediately limits some of the opportunities to hire.
