Pros

I love working for Assist Med. I have worked for St. Luke's, a small practice, my own business, and I am also a nurse who has worked as a unit manager, floor nurse, etc. I have never, ever been told how valued I am in such a genuine way. The upper management I deal with everyday just leave me speechless. I cannot say enough good things about how I feel as an employee. They are so positive. There was one snafu with payroll, ONCE. Our paychecks were late. I, being quite verbose, essentially told them all how much of a hardship it was to me and that it wasn't acceptable. Not only did I get a personal email from the CEO and head of payroll apologizing, but an outline of how it isn't going to occur again, my upper management team wired me early funds to get through the weekend, and all overdraft charges for all employees were covered. The general atmosphere is great, the work is awesome, lines are plenty, never run out of work, and always am personally thanked for extra time I put in. I love this company. Anytime my kiddo is sick, they are very flexible with my time, never punitive. Very down to earth. I have personally referred 3 other of my transcription friends and they have been nothing but pleased as well.

Cons

I have NONE.

Pros

Not many pros other than I have flexibility to some degree. I had no choice but to give at least one star there are no Negative stars.

Cons

The pay is rarely on time. Once again, Thanksgiving is here and we are not getting our paychecks on time. They were late over Veterans day also. As a matter of fact, they are late for every holiday because God forbid they actually process the payroll before the scheduled pay date. I bet Raul Kivatinetz does not have to go without his pay. This will most definitely be my last holiday season with this company. There are no incentives at all to do a good job. No matter how good a job we do and flex our schedules to meet their needs, we do not even get as much as a pat on the back. If we are not able to do flex our schedule then we are not "team players".
