Pros

Assima was recently purchased by PartnerOne equity investment firm. Pre lay off. Great benefits, amazing co-workers, great culture, met salary expectations, bonuses. A great COO and leader of the US entity.

Cons

The entire company but 5 people (who’s role now is salvaging the few remaining clients we had) the rest were laid off by an automated voice message from the new owners HR department. There was no severance package or healthcare benefits extension. There were employees who had been at the company for over 15 years. They never gave anyone an opportunity to thank each other for our support and years of service. It was unreal.

Hello, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We realize that acquisitions are difficult and there are always things that could be done better. As it is often the case, there were a lot of organizational changes made after the acquisition. That being said, we want to clarify that no employee was ever laid off by automated recordings. Assima and PartnerOne want to emphasize the human element to our work, and our employees are our most important assets. Kindly email hr@assima.net if you feel like you want to discuss this matter in greater detail. Many thanks for your review!

Pros

Management changes now truly focused on employees and core business. Every employee truly empowered and making a difference. Very positive place to work.

Cons

Employees need to be adaptable to change and be able to take on additional responsibilities outside their core role.

Pros

The team is excellent, the technology is amazing, and the opportunity is good.

Cons

The turnaround is fast; if you do not bring in the business as quickly as possible, you are out. The sales cycle is 9-12 months.
