Pros
Lots of autonomy - rewarding work...helpful to lots of people and ability to use creativity in constructing legal argument. Get to manage self and speak for self and help those who cannot speak for themselves.
Cons
Not great pay for really hard work. Clients needs are great and it takes a toll. Need to value self and maintain self esteem because will not otherwise be thanked or recognized. But if you see the value, it's very rewarding!
