Pros

Flexible schedule, no other pros

Cons

Benefits too expensive for employees. This company is so inconsistent in everything they do. A co-worker on another team got sick and took more time off then they had in PTO, was allowed to "borrow" PTO and go negative and earn it all back so they would not miss paid time. When I got COVID and was out for a week, was told borrowing PTO had not been allowed for several years that they knew of (which is not true, as co-worker had borrowed PTO this year.) which caused me to not receive my full paycheck and put me behind on bills. I feel like I am being punished for getting COVID. I even offered to go remote at home while sick and was told no, even though most of the office has been remote recently due to high infection rates. They are inconsistent and not understanding when the employee has special circumstances. Only certain employees are allowed to bend the rules.

Pros

Good base pay, flexible hours, hybrid/remote accommodations

Cons

Recent leadership turnover has made it difficult to maintain consistent organizational goals. While the benefits package is standard, the lack of performance-based bonuses for the wider team, especially when contrasted with executive-level payouts, can be discouraging. I would also like to see the company make a more concerted effort to improve diversity in management, as the current executive team is pretty much all men and mostly white.
