The main issue with the company is that very old employees are too wary of newcomers and rarely if ever the new people are given the chance to take more important roles or responsibility. Once you get a role in the company you are expected to do your thing over and over again and nobody will ever wonder if you are really happy and with virtually zero chances of facing new challenges. All the interested stuff is done by the old employees and the most you can expect is to fix their bugs.
Communication with other Leads is probably the worst I've ever experienced working professionally. Not sure if there is a language barrier or it's just plain French management philosophy.
It's really difficult to work with the old employees that have been in the company for so long at the company, they rarely accept any suggestion and are not happy with taking risks to improve the very old codebase they have.
