Pros
There are 3 constituents that all companies have to balance: employees, clients and shareholders. The old adage is "if you take care of your employees, your clients will be happy, and if your clients are happy, your shareholders will be rewarded." I finally found a company that "walks the walk" when it comes to the understanding that taking care of your employees is not an afterthought, but it is essential to the success of the company. Working in the Boston area, there are a number of colleagues at Ascensus that left the dog-eat-dog world of the big banks. At Ascensus we work hard, not because you feel like you have a gun to your head, but because you want to and you're having fun doing it. And most importantly, there is legitimate mutual respect among teams, we challenge each other and we encourage each other. I feel empowered, heard and respected. Breath of fresh air.
