Pros

Management believes in servant leadership and helping their team members grow. They'll let you try new things, challenge the status quo, and understand that you may fail. The team has built a culture of mentorship and trust. If you raise your hand when you see an opportunity, you'll be given chances to shine. If you work hard, you'll be noticed and asked to get involved and lead. Major projects involve all levels of the team, and there is transparency in the strategic plan and mission (openly shared with all). HR shares a "hire for fit" mentality that means you get great people as colleagues with a willingness to learn, instead of just "know-it-alls". Many people find unexpected passions at the Bank because of cross-departmental work. If you're not sure what you love, you may have an opportunity to try a lot of things to find out. Benefits are on par with large organizations, and time off is respected. Management believes in open feedback (what you want from your job, thoughts on strategy or ops) and expects that everyone owns and improves everything they touch. Cons
You'll wear many hats, so training may mean just "figuring it out". That can be good for people who like the freedom, but bad for those who want detailed instructions. A small organization means you can't fly under the radar - while you'll be recognized for your accomplishments, those who slack off are noticed, too. Don't expect to relax just because the Bank is small.
