Pros
Challenging environment, not-for-profit mentality of spending money where it matters, typical healthcare IT issues that are being dealt with across the vertical, IT systems well ahead of similarly sized healthcare environments.
Cons
Poor employee retention, no staffing plan unless you're an Epic analyst, complacent management, zero process improvement, poor implementation of structure, lots of bad apples, management doesn't value or encourage certification (unless it's an Epic cert).
