      Pros

      Arup's work is very meaningful. It has a huge impact on the built environment and on managing climate change and resiliency with a focus on environmental justice. The culture is very supportive, fair, and there is much opportunity for career growth.

      Cons

      The work is often at an intense pace, but that is never in conflict with quality.

      Pros

      Working at Arup was a great experience, surrounded by smart, motivated, and mission-driven peers.

      Cons

      This may have since improved, but at least previously, the America's region felt rather second-class compared to UK. Most/all senior leadership, even in the US, was British.

      great supervisor, lots of professional development opportunities

      Cons

      insane workload and expect you to be available for work 24/7. some teams are drowning and others have no resourcing. layoffs happen completely randomly and they lay off people who are 100 percent billable. profit share is bs and you get nothing as a junior member
