It is an old-fashioned business. It is true that if you're here for the money, you're here for the wrong reason as the salaries don't match the market rate. Working overtime is in the culture: it is normal to hear people working till late at night or through the weekend. No flexibility, no work-life balance. Stress is high. Management says we are a family. It seems that a toxic environment is part of the company's mission.
