Pros

- The workers on a store level are great people

Cons

- No health benefits - Raises are less than a dollar - They do not care about their employees at all. The owners would come in and act like snobs and not have the human decency to look their workers in the face or say a word to make them feel less than - The robbery they are committing at the prices they are selling these products vs how much the company buys it for - Corporate vultures that will put a down payment on new cars and houses but give only 10 cents raises to the full time workers who have to put up with customers and constant changes every day - Whatever you do just do not work for them. - Turnaround rate is crazy due to how miserable they make us and leech off our work ethic

Pros

Great product selection. Public perception is that this company is one of the better cannabis companies. Company moral is so slow you will make friends from trauma bonding/ hating your life.

Cons

Anyone who has worked for The Artist Tree knows that the environment has steadily declined. Employees across both corporate and retail locations are underpaid, with the exception of a select few who are closely connected to upper management. These individuals are often compensated well despite lacking cannabis experience or qualifications. The company has a history of union-busting and multiple lawsuits, yet little has changed in how they operate. Complaints from employees are frequently met with retaliation, while individuals with serious allegations against them are often protected if they are favored by management. Leadership has also shown patterns of sexism, tending to be more lenient with male employees when mistakes are made. During crises, such as recent fires, employees in dangerous areas received no communication or guidance about their safety, including whether it was acceptable to close early. This disregard for employee well-being has contributed to widespread stress and, in some cases, the need for workers to take stress-related leave. Pay at The Artist Tree is among the lowest in the compliant cannabis industry, and opportunities for advancement are nearly nonexistent. Raises, when offered, are minimal—often between 30 cents to a dollar. Ultimately, the company’s prioritization of profit over people creates an unhealthy and unsustainable workplace culture.
