Pros
Working remote during the pandemic.
Cons
I started in the Members Services department, the company makes it very difficult for members services employees to move to other departments within the company. The members services department also has a very high turn over rate, so when you work hard and excel in the position the company would prefer you to stay there. It took me 3 years to be offered another position as a Credentialing specialist. After being a credentialing specialist for 2 1/2 years the company then reconfigured my job responsibilities and then put me back into the members services department. Being with the company for 6 years, I witnessed many coworkers being promoted to management position when they had no managerial experience. The company promoted unqualified managers who will enforce the rules the higher ups want to enforce. The company prefers their employees to just do as their told and not ask any questions. The executive team does not listen or implement any suggestions given by the subordinates. The work environment is very much like high school, if you are deemed as "cool" you will be promoted whether you have the qualifications or not. If you are a hard working employee, you will be rewarded with a tango gift card but you will not be promoted.
