Pros
- Arkose is on a mission to protect online user accounts by reducing fraud. -The technology is solid and works as advertised. -Existing customers are large B2C global brands. -Customer Support Pre and Post Sales is stellar.
Cons
- Significant lack of communication between sales/engineering/marketing teams. No one knows what is the current objective nor there is a plan on how to achieve. No metrics or OKRs are set. - The leadership team for sales and marketing are completely disconnected from the field. Manage by bullying and pressuring everyone, including customers. - Absolutely no human element to the culture. Feedback from customers has included harassment. This was not addressed. Reps and other team mates get fired or quit and no one knows about it until you can't find them on slack. - Quotas are set without any study or coherent baseline and creates a feast or famine situation with the sales reps. - Addressable market is significantly overestimated. If you are not a rep in the west coast you will not be successful. - BDR/ADR team was built but no mission was given. - Attrition rate is nearing 90% and again the leaders don't seem to care. - Micromanagement of every deal is exhausting and promotes a lack of trust.
