This is Glen Arrowsmith, VP of Engineering. While I am glad to hear that you find your co-workers to be committed and absolute professionals, I don’t believe the other points you made are an accurate representation of Arkose’s culture or process. First, as a member of the leadership team, I can tell you with full confidence that the decisions we make, even the most arduous, are done with thought, consideration, and pragmatic empathy. These tough decisions are made with deliberation and counsel as to what is in the best long-term interest and success of Arkose Labs and by extension its employees.
To your other point surrounding compensation adjustments. We do have an internal process in place for compensation review which aligns with performance. Please feel free to reach out to me directly so that we can discuss your specific concerns. We are not a culture of retaliation. We are a culture that values direct feedback and communication. If you do not feel comfortable talking to me, please have a compensation review discussion with a member of the People Team.
We value the employee life cycle and as a current employee of Arkose Labs, I personally want to make sure that you are being heard and that these concerns are addressed.
