Pros
As its a small scale company(15-20 employees), so can't expect much facilities and higher pay scales but there are some reasons to join this company. 1) Company's director Mr Amit( smartdata former employee) is a good person and will listen to you and will try his best to resolve any issue. 2) If you have good mind and have guts to move forward alone its a good place for you. You would be the sole owner of the project assigned to you(no interference) and if you like this way of working, you would enjoy working here. 3) If you can really do great work, you'll get respect too. 4) Good for talented newbies.
Cons
There are some downside as well:- 1) No pre-defined architecture, so can create problems for new-bies(what to follow). Also, thus have different architectures for all projects. 2) Completely odesk(now upwork), elance projects; so at times its difficult to learn new technologies quickly and implement them. 3) No one to look for projects performance tuning. 4) Expect senior members to take more responsibility for less pay. 5) They have started playing immature politics(not sure why) which was not there earlier and is the main reason for me to leave.
