Pros

As a summer intern at Ares Direct, I was exposed to the culture and mentality that drives success in the direct marketing business. While my stay was temporary, I was still treated like an employee and enjoyed the same training and experience as if I were a full-time hire. The managers were incredible coaches that not only built up my confidence, but also equipped me with the fundamentals of public speaking and leadership to help propel my skills forward to the next level. The work is fast-paced and advancement extremely quick; I found myself learning extremely rapidly, and naturally, in their encouraging and goal-focused environment. If you're interested in a business that really focuses on developing YOU as the final product, then Ares Direct and its management team are who you're looking for.

Cons

While the advancement is quick, that is only because the hours are longer to compress the time spent. Not only that, but succeeding in this business is difficult. If you're not ready or willing to learn and grow from the fantastic coaching of the management team, you'll have a much harder time moving forward.

Pros

+Learn every angle of business - starting of with sales in a direct marketing approach which has been SO helpful for all my business ventures + Learn how to recruit and personally duplicate your skill sets into a team of people + Get to hang out with tons of like minded individuals who are looking to create a solid foundation for themselves in the business world + The payment structure linked in with their rate of growth really keeps you motivated to become better every day.

Cons

+It is a management training program so you're working longer hours during that phase +You're working outside when its cold however the management team had everyone prepared with bright colors

Pros

Cool people Good money at the top of the pyramid.

Cons

Complete pyramid scheme. They don't pay hourly, or provide benefits, this would make you a subcontractor, but yet they require you to be in uniform and be there at a certain time. The way you get paid is by "recruiting" other people and you get money when the person you recruited sells. This is the definition of a pyramid scheme. It is unsustainable, the only people who are making money are those on top who get a percentage from every sell someone makes no matter how long that person has been working there, so they know that as long as new people keep getting hired and then eventually quitting they'll make money either way. Also, the guy on top likes to brag about how nice how house is and how much money he makes, yeah buddy how about paying your workers hourly wages, some guys I'd work with would work 9 hour days 6 days a week, not sell anything and make ZERO dollars. Even with minimum wage working those kind of hours would yield a respectable amount of money.
