Pros

None after Alex Lyashok became CEO in 2023

Cons

Worst management I've witnessed in my career. CEO came into a very specialized industry, has zero understanding of the company, its products, customers, etc. but acts as if he knows what he's doing. He drove out all of the leaders that made the company somewhat successful and replaced them with people who blindly follow him from his last company. The tipping point was when leadership gave a presentation during a offsite where they applauded the company's performance, showed the growth trajectory over the past few years, and made statements touting the stability of the company based on market adoption. They then set an "urgent" goal to drive a large number of new accounts by the end of the quarter, imploring all employees to work together to achieve this goal. In addition, other ambitious targets were set for new features, which required employees to work nights, weekends and holidays to ensure they were ready for a launch event. Less than 2 months later, the goal was achieved. No fanfare, barely any acknowledgement from leadership. Instead, mass layoffs happened a month later.

Pros

- The people who are not in leadership are the good people here; they are reasonable and will help you get work done

Cons

- The previous CEO is a coward. He hired a CEO so that he didn't have to do layoffs. He also hired a CEO in place of himself so he doesn't have to do the hard work. Instead, he just comes into meetings and does nothing. So now, he has a CEO that now one wants to work with. - The new CEO is even worse. He doesn't listen to the feedback that employees give him and the company and always thinks that he's right. If you push back, he'll just fire you, so just keep your mouth shut. He doesn't want to hear your opinion anyway. - The current CEO thinks he knows how to run a company, but he doesn't. He just copies what other companies are doing and then micromanages everything. What you work on changes on a daily basis based on what he says. He doesn't know how to build a good product and he doesn't trust who he hires enough to make those decisions, so he just changes what everyone is working on. - A lot of meetings and lot of talking, and switching from doing one thing to another, as often as one changes their underwear.
