Pros
Flextime and work from home were supported even before COVID. If you're confident and charismatic you can go places faster than most. Lots of projects to choose from once you've made a name for yourself. Various extracurricular/overhead groups to get involved in. Genuinely seems to be looking at improving hiring practices and diversity following recent events.
Cons
Typical consulting and large company downsides. You're ultimately only worth as much as you bill or win for the company. The quality of work and peers can vary widely by office. My office has a reputation for being relatively arrogant and I didn't realize how on the nose that was until I worked with out of state teams. Supervisor quality is a luck of the draw and you're in their hands when it comes time to split up the small amount provided from corporate for annual merit increases or promotions. HR, IT, and select technical roles are shifting overseas with mixed results. COVID layoffs seemed to disproportionately focus on junior and mid-level staff.
