Pros

Free snacks? The building is nice?

Cons

First off, I couldn’t agree more with the many accurate titles and descriptions of this sweat shop. This place is terrible. Management lies to your face and keeps secrets amongst themselves which subordinates discover through the grapevine of gossipy management. The name of the game at Arbor is to suck up to get what you want, and do it WELL! If you enjoy being a 24/7 teachers pet you’ll do great here! If you don’t like that... tough luck. Only the sycophants will move up to management positions here. It’s so incredibly obvious amongst my colleagues who sucks up and how terrible they all are for it. One minute it’s all sweet talk to the president/ C level executives and then a quick turn around to complain about how awful they are. It’s disgusting and a dishonest work culture here. And it all starts with upper management! They breed a culture of dishonest behavior and work ethic. It took me a while to realize it but the management and president of this company are grade A scum. The turnover rate is insane here! Hire new college grads, promise them a career path... LOL at this. We have medical writers with PhD’s who could be making 6 figures easily at any other medical communication agency or Pharma/Medical Device company. Those who stick around are so unhappy it’s sad. And very few do stick around. During my time I would say about 75% of the employees were gone by the end of 2019 including myself. And those who left? Went on to do great things. Working at major Pharma companies, writing at different agencies, or managing different projects for the pay deserved! 30% below market value is Arbor’s standard pay. What a joke. No tuition assistance is offered, no work from home option, be in from 8-5 everyday with rarely even taking a lunch break. You’ll be grinding all day until you have nothing less to give. Do not work here. You’ve been warned by all the reviews by now I would hope. Oh yeah and that one 5 star review... definitely written up by an executive to try and gain some quality new hires in. They realize they’ve messed up... only it’s too late now.
